What can you expect from our gat yoga classes?? Here are some frequently asked questions!
Will I get dirty/poopy? Maybe! Plan on being outdoors and in the barnyard! Sometimes the goaties do poop. But thankfully they have dry droppings like a bunny. So we can usually just brush off your mat or switch it out for a fresh one!
Should I bring a yoga mat? Yes if you have one! You can also use a blanket or towel. We also have some mats you can borrow!
Do goats REALLY do yoga? YES! Kinda! By nature goats LOVE to climb on things, so they naturally will want to jump up on your backs. They also enjoy stretching. And can help you stabilize yourself in different poses. But mostly they will entertain you and make your workout go faster and be more enjoyable! Goats will help you relax and find you goat ZEN!
What if I’ve never done yoga before? No problem! Our instructor shows ways to adapt each movement for your skill level! While our classes are energetic, you don’t need to have any prior yoga experience or be particularly athletic! The goats don’t judge!
How do I find out about class schedules? We have each class event posted under the “events” tab on our Facebook page. You can find that here–>
“These classes are so much fun! The baby pygmy goats have a great time climbing and jumping while our yoga attendees are guided through a gentle yoga flow with Gabby Orcutt our resident Goat Yoga Instructor. Each of Gabby’s classes are unique experiences and every class is different!” -Lanna Calhoun
